During the second quarter of 2023, the top music and podcasts apps on the Android platform in Greece showcased varied performance trends. Here’s an overview based on data from Sensor Tower.

Spotify: Music and Podcasts saw a consistent rise in weekly revenue, starting from approximately $3.9K at the end of March and peaking at around $7.5K by the last week of June. The app's weekly downloads fluctuated but generally hovered around 5K to 6K. Weekly active users maintained a steady presence, increasing from 536K to around 567K over the quarter.

Shazam: Find Music & Concerts experienced moderate weekly downloads, ranging from about 2.8K to 4.4K. The highest download rate was observed in early May. The weekly active user count showed some fluctuations, starting at approximately 156K and ending at around 155K, with minor peaks and troughs in between.

Mosquito Sound had an interesting quarter with a dramatic increase in weekly downloads. Starting with just 261 downloads at the end of March, the app surged to a peak of around 16K in early June before stabilizing around 3K by the end of the quarter. Active users mirrored this trend, jumping from 3.5K to a high of approximately 17.9K in mid-June, eventually settling at 11.7K by the end of June.

Starting at approximately 2.5K downloads in late March, the numbers decreased to around 1.3K by the end of June. Active users also followed a similar downward trend, beginning at around 8.8K and reducing to approximately 5.9K by the end of the quarter.
